Business Therapy™

First, we learn what’s going on in your business. Second, we get the team working as one. Then we solve the problem together.

I’m trying to work myself out of a job.

By the end of the process, you and your team will be able to solve your own problems going forward.

Build for Organizations Experiencing:

🚀 Rapid Growth & Scale

When expanding revenue or headcount creates operational drag and internal confusion.

🔄 Leadership & Structural Shifts

When new executive hires, promotions, or reorgs reveal gaps in decision pathways and communication.

👑 Founder-Led to Managed Structure

When key decisions bottleneck on executive desks and leadership needs to step back into true strategy.

🤝 Post-Merger or System Integration

When bringing two teams, cultures, or operating models together creates friction beneath the surface.

The Process

Phase 1: Consult

Fill out Pre-Consult Questionnaire + 20 minute Consult

We discuss what’s keeping you up at night and how we can go about solving those problems.

Phase 2: Qualitative Analysis

Interviews across departments + Strengths, Hidden Assumptions & Frictions-Mapping

I conduct: Executive Interviews to establish vision, Middle Management Interviews to understand lines of communication and accountability, and Front Line Interviews to see where the day-to-day hurdles live. After a Strengths, Hidden Assumptions, and Friction map(s) findings presentation, you can choose from a package or a personalized plan.

Phase 3: Workshops

Communication, Co-Design, & Culture/Leadership Workshops

We start with communication workshops. If we can’t talk with each other, we can’t work together.

Co-Design workshops increase employee buy-in, engagement, and likelihood of long-lasting adaptability. We create an evaluative process by which to measure success, formalize emergent workflows and shadow systems, & build new processes that prioritize culture and ease of use.

Leadership defines the culture. Learn how to get the most out of your business, by uplifting your employees and taking weight from your own shoulders.

Phase 4: Implement & Test

Implementation + 30/60/90-Day Follow-Ups

To make sure any learned helplessness hasn’t crept back in, employees are encouraged to suggest and test iterations on processes to build scalability; as your business grows, so do your systems. This phase is where we will see how well the lines of communication and evaluative processes are functioning.

How I work

Most projects are best tackled with a personalized plan based on Qualitative Analysis findings.

Qualitative Analysis begins with interviews across your business’s hierarchy and/or relevant departments: leadership, middle management, and frontline employees. This can take up to 3-4 weeks depending on the size and complexity of your organization, though generally 2 weeks is sufficient.

The deliverable is a report of what I uncover. It includes underlying assumptions, a friction map or maps of the processes that are slowing things down, and untapped strengths and resources.

This is the starting point. From here, we put together a plan based on your specific needs.

Case Study – Shelf Studio: From Estimating Chaos to Operational Clarity

Shelf Studio had talented leadership and high demand, but foundational client onboarding, estimate workflows, and pricing sheets were informal and time-consuming. Proposals required heavy founder intervention, and project handoffs created unnecessary friction.

Applying UX research methods to internal business operations, we conducted a qualitative discovery across decision pathways and client touchpoints.

We co-designed:

  • A New Estimate Process & Standardized Rate Sheet
  • A Streamlined Client Intake Questionnaire
  • Clearer Project Management & Role Accountability

✓ Eliminated founder bottlenecks in proposal generation
✓ Established repeatable pricing and intake systems that protect profit margins
✓ Created a calm, structured client onboarding experience

Scale Capacity, Not Chaos

As organizations grow, internal complexity quickly outpaces operating models. Decisions slow down, leaders become bottlenecks, and friction builds across teams. Whether you lead HR, direct Operations, or advise growth-stage clients, adding more headcount or software rarely fixes the root issue.

Business Therapy is an organizational infrastructure methodology that creates healthier workspaces by teaching and facilitating collaborative problem-solving. By redesigning how companies operate beneath the surface, it enables organizations to increase revenue, reclaim leadership time, and build true capacity for sustainable growth.
